I will be speaking on “Using CSS3 in WordPress”.
I very lucky to have been selected to speak at the very first WordCamp Sacramento this year, right where my favorite cousins live! I will be giving my “Using CSS3 in WordPress” talk, which I also gave at WordCamp Toronto this October. However, this time, I will be adding more code examples and reworking my talk especially for the fine folks this upcoming November 7th! I am very excited for this WordCamp, especially since all tickets sold out in only 2 hours! It should be a fun, informative time for everyone!
Hey, but if you know CSS3 already, why not learn some Sass? I did a introductory talk at Minneapolis WordCamp on this, which was recorded, and you may find embedded below from WordPress.tv. The session is geared for those CSS wizards wanting to get their feet wet with some Sassy good times:
I hope to see you at WordCamp Sacramento and if you go please stop me and say hello! 🙂
Join us to learn the basics of CSS with Suzette Franck & Natalie MacLees!
Natalie MacLees will give a general introduction to how CSS works: syntax, selectors, and properties.
Suzette Franck will then tackle how to use CSS inside WordPress specifically – how to customize it, using inspector tools to figure out what to change, etc.
This presentation was given by Suzette Franck at 2013 San Diego WordCamp on March 23rd, 2013.
CSS3 is the latest and greatest in web technology. Using CSS in WordPress is a little different then using CSS for regular webpages, and the methods to doing this will be reviewed. If you are new to CSS in general, this session will help you to understand the basics and show you how to leverage the new CSS3 modules to make your website really pop!
